Vörður is an Icelandic insurance company that has established itself as a leading digital service through a detailed digital strategy and well-planned user experience (UX) and user interface (UI).
The site was not only designed with the customers in mind but also Vörður’s employees. Both groups were classified as users, so it became instrumental to design a website that was easy to work with, both for programmers and webmasters. “Tiles” were designed to ease the work when creating sub-pages.
The layout of the website was intricately planned, along with the components of each page so that they could easily slide into each other. This allows Vörðurto personalize the layout of the website according to, for example, the user's location or age.
Insurance is something the user may need to check on at a moment’s notice so the website was designed to be mobile-oriented. This allows for a streamlined process to get information quickly.
